Starch

Berolan starch are modified potato and maize strach. The areas of application ranges from plaster to improve the stability up to thickener in paint systems.

Berolan ST-801

Application

Berolan ST 801 is a special starch that is mainly used in the building-chemistry. It has a behaviour that increases the consistency. In respective combination with cellulose-ethers optimal settings of non sagproperties, working properties and water retention are possible. Berolan ST 801 is used in all systems which are based on gypsum, cement and lime.

Berolan ST-902

Application

Berolan ST 902 is a special starch ether for construction products. It effects a pseudoplasticity and increases the consistency of the building material. A low adhesiveness to the tools allows a easy handling of the product. Water retention is controlled by combination with cellulose ether.Berolan ST 902 is dosed depending on the application in the range from 0.005 to 0.3%.

Berolan ST-700

Application

Berolan ST 700 is a non-ionic starch ether. Berolan ST 700 is used as an universal additive in the building industry i.e. for:

- component with other polymers/fillers for the building industry

- component in tiles adhesives

- in mixture with cement to improve the workability

Berolan ST-805

Application

Berolan ST 805 is a special starch that is mainly used in the building-chemistry. It has a behaviour that increases the consistency. In respective combination with cellulose-ethers optimal settings of nonsag properties, working properties and water retention are possible.
Berolan ST 805 is used in all systems which are based on gypsum, cement and lime.

Berolan ST-811

Application

Berolan ST 811 is a cold water soluble starch-ether based on potato strach. Berolan

ST 811 is a special starch, which is mainly used in the building – chemistry. Using Berolan ST 811 gives a good stability to building materials even if the dosage is very low.

Berolan ST-912

Application

Berolan ST 912 is a cold water soluble starch-ether based on maize starch. Berolan
ST 912 is a special starch, which is used for the dry spraying method and wet spraying method. The starch will be used to reduce the amount of rebound and dust. If there is the possibility to pre moisturize the dry shotcrete Berolan ST 912 can develop its quality better.

Berolan ST-710

Application

Berolan ST 710 is a modified starch ether for the building and paint industry. Berolan
ST 710 helps to make stronger plasters and mortars. In combination with cellulose derivatives are synergistic effects. It imparts excellent resistance to sagging within plasters and mortars. Berolan ST 710 can be added to emulsion paints to enhance workability, brushability and rheological behaviour.

Berolan ST-720

Application

Berolan ST 720 is a highly modified starch ether for the building industry. Berolan ST 720 should beused in combination with cellulose derivatives. In this combination are synergistic effects to see like improving workability sag resistance in tile adhesives and good compatibility with many cellulose derivatives.

Berolan ST-705

Application

Berolan ST 705 is highly modified potato starch ether for the building industry. It is used for dry gypsum and cement based mortars and tile adhesives. Berolan ST 705 should be used in combination with cellulose derivatives. In this combination are synergistic effects to see such as

- Improved workability
- Sag resistance in tile adhesives

Berolan ST-1250 New Product!

Application

Berolan ST 1250 is a highly modified tapioca starch for the construction industry. The application of Berolan ST 1250 includes gypsum and cement-based dry mortar. Berolan ST 1250 is perfect for tile adhesives! It should be used in combination with cellulosic derivatives.

Berolan ST 1250 offers the following advantages:

- improved workability through very creamy consistency and good behavior

- excellent sag resistance in adhesives, plaster and repair mortar, as well as in tile adhesives for large format tiles
