Berolan® LP 50 is a strongly surface-active air-entraining admixture and it acts as a plasticizer. It has been developed especially for use in mortars based on gypsum, lime, or cement. It leads to a better plaster yield, to improved workability, and improves the mixing of the dry mortar with water by decreasing the surface tension of water an therefore improving wetting of the mortar. It decreases the wear of mixing units, the tendency to lumping and the shrinkage. Irritation of the respiratory organs has been minimized.

• Humidity: max. 0.6%
• Compatibility: with most nonionic and anionic colloids (alginates, starch derivatives, cellulose ethers, etc.)
• Dosage: 0.01 – 0.05% on the dry mix

Storage

Berolan® LP 50 may be stored for at least 12 months in original packing. The product may not be stacked one above the other and must be stored dry. Attention is to be paid to sufficient distance from heat sources.
